Moon Drawings (with Wind and Water)
First exhibited at Istanbul Museum of Modern Art, 2013-14. Also included in Moon and Star Drawings (Galeri Mana, Istanbul, 2014).

In this series, the passing moon inscribes itself on the sea, its reflection modified by the movement of the water and wind, sometimes also by the movement of the camera. The interplay of these elements is variously recorded, in individual photographs, composites and videos. In the video works, which might perhaps be described as kinetic drawings, a static camera observes the dynamic interaction of moonlight, wind and sea.
